About the Book

David Mulwa's Inheritance is a political play set in the fictional African state of Kutula. It explores the post-colonial inheritance of corruption — how African leaders reproduce colonial oppression after independence. King Lacuna Kasoo rules tyrannically while his people starve, and a foreign mining company exploits the country's resources with his complicity.
